Barzin Technologies is a Texas-based company developing flight control systems and functions for unmanned aircraft.

We take an airframe from no model to flight-validated closed-loop control: physics-based flight dynamics models, system identification from flight test data, control law design, and production C++ on the target flight computer. Every identified parameter ships with an uncertainty bound and an honest statement of what your data supports.

Everything we sell has flown. The complete GNC system for a 600 kg unmanned coaxial helicopter, model through embedded software, was ours. It flew over 150 hours including external load operations.

What we do

Flight dynamics and identification. Physics-based 6-DOF models, maximum-likelihood identification from flight test data, optimal flight test campaign design, envelope coverage reporting.

Guidance and control. Trajectory optimization, nonlinear control, state estimation, autopilot design and gain scheduling, envelope protection.

Flight software. Production C++ on resource-constrained targets, allocation-free embedded code, hardware-in-the-loop verification environments.

Systems engineering. Requirements definition, flight control system architecture, redundancy and failure-mode analysis, actuation system specification.

Part 108

We are developing fully redundant flight control systems for unmanned aircraft operating under FAA Part 108, covering the architecture, the flight software, and the actuation and avionics integration.

Partners

We work with manned-aviation-grade suppliers of actuation and electronics to deliver complete flight control systems to provide our customers with a complete solution.
